Lunch@Ci Hang-Chempaka - August 2018

H A P P I N E S S is when you see them happy :)

We had our 3rd session of lunch for the folks at Ci-Hang Chempaka. This round, we did not only serve lunch, but also dinner tonight and tomorrow breakfast as well :P We had bakuteh, pork vinegar, braised pork knuckle and yam pork. (#salivadroolingasitypethis). The folks were very happy and much appreciative of the food and looking forward for the next round!

Post lunch was karaoke session where we get volunteers to sing as well(yes, part of the requirements to join!). As we say our good byes, they were really thanking us for the great lunch, and I can imagine how satisfy they are today. Credit goes to sponsors and volunteers for bringing the home cook food. Thank you Lily, Judy and Joyce! :) Till the next time!

Groceries For Needies@PPR Hicom, Shah Alam - July 2018

After a long 3 years, we are back in PPR Hicom at Shah Alam. We provided grocery packs to 80 families like we always do. With many sponsors, they had about 10 items to be taken back. We work with the AJK who provided a lot of administrative and logistic help to ensure the program goes smoothly. We could not have done it without them and also many thanks to donors and volunteers who make it happen again.

Post event, there are a few families that drop by to ask for groceries from the committee, and as we understand, there are many poor families here, and new families may not be aware of that the committee does has many other programs (beside us), and urged them to registered. If you do want to help out, you can contact the committee.

Groceries For Needies@Rembau - May 2018

Our day started with heavy rain all the way to Rembau. Arrived all safe and sound at Giant Senawang to purchase the rice, sponsored by UTS Marketing. TQVM!!! Our arrival at the school was greeted by the enthusiastic teachers and students who cant wait to help us to arrange the groceries. Our connection is the headmaster from a previous grocery event that we did with him. With this connection, we are able to have this event here. TQ to all again and much appreciation to the volunteers who drove all the way down.

Lunch @ Ci Hang-Chempaka Old Folks Home - March 2018

Today we had our lunch makan makan with the old folks at Ci Hang-Chempaka home. We bought the groceries before heading to the home. We had good fun chatting with the old folks, listening to their stories, and found out that we even have a female spy from WW2 in the home #truestory. The folks looks much younger than they look and you would be surprised at their age.

The home only accept those above 65,  married without kids or single. The home also support other needy families and community in Banting, Semenyih in terms of tuitions and school transportations. 

Post lunch event was a short session of karaoke before we called it a day. As we bid good bye to them, we promised our next trip will bring their favorite food!

Grocery For Needy - April 2018

15/04/2018 - Today's grocery purchase and delivery is sponsored by UTS Marketing Sdn Bhd. Our recipients today are Kembara Community Care Center (K3C) food bank, Rumah Saffiyah, Lagenda Home, Rohingya home at Meru, Sri Sai home, Ebezenner home and YWCA. We had a good time doing our shopping spree...and so we buy, buy and buy, then pay, pay and pay..and crash the cashier payment system! Spent some time to wait for this to be sorted out...:) Many thanks to Giant staff who patiently help us to sort out the system (re-keyin all over again!)
