Back to School 2018 - On behalf of the recipients of the uniforms, I would like to thank all sponsors who have help to make a difference. With your sponsorship, we managed to provide the school uniforms to two families and kids from Lagenda Home. Not forgetting the volunteers who came to help to control the "riot"!

2016 Back To School 2 with St Barnabas Home - Dec 2015

For 2016 Back To School Program, we targeted for 63 children from 3 homes. The beneficiaries of our BTS2 program this year are the following homes :-

1. St Barnabas Home - 19 children
2. Pusat Kanak Kanak Istimewa Lagenda - 20 children
3. Dr. Azma's Ringan Beban - 23 children
4. Homeless street friend - 1 child

Our objective was to provide 1 pair of uniform, 1 pair of shoes, 2 socks and 1 school bag. Thank you to our sponsors who have contributed school bags, vitamin pills and also the splendid lunch sponsored from Hess Oil & Gas. Many thanks to the volunteers who help to bring the children to Mydin, help them finding the right sizes for the uniform and shoes. We literally cleared almost the new shoes there  till it ran out of sizes!

On behalf of the recipients, I would like to express my gratitude to all for bringing us through another year of activities. As we wrap up the year with the final event, I would like to thank all our sponsors and volunteers who have been very supportive for us throughout the year. We hope for your continuous support for the coming year(s) and hope that our little help to the needies will be able to some joy and reduce their burden.

2016 Back To School 1 @SK Hicom, Shah Alam - Nov 2015

We kick off our yearly Back To School program with SK Hicom Shah Alam. For this event, we supported 13 students, which the families will received 2 pairs of uniforms, school bags, shoes, socks and also groceries. We were also blessed with sponsors of potatoes and onions from Living Hope, hence the families gets extra rations.

Event was held on 13th November 2015 at the school.

Back To School (2) for Needy Families, Port Klang

For Back To School 2, the recipients are from the families that we are providing the groceries and additional 2 needy families. As some of the children are leaving school this year, we have fewer recipients than originally expected.

We are providing uniforms to 22 children from 8 families. Each of the children will receive 1 set of school uniform, 1 pair of shoe and 2 pairs of socks. With Christmas around the corner, we will also bring the kids to Pizza Hut for lunch. Many thanks to all sponsors and volunteers for their time and sponsorship, else this event would not have been possible. Not forgetting the goody bags sponsors - additional items inside - stationary bag, stationary set, pencil case & note book.

Service Above Self - Serving them before us

Everyone enjoy the meal. I asked the one kid when is the last time he had Pizza Hut, he answered more than 6 months.. my heart dropped for a few seconds upon hearing that. So, thank you to all sponsors who have make this event a meaningful one for the children.

This event marks the end of our 2014 event... This year, it has been good year like previous years. There has never been short of sponsors and things will just always fall in place at the end of the day. For that, I am always appreciative of the sponsors who have contributed. Again, wishing you all a good year ahead! :)

Back To School (1) - SK Taman Bunga Raya 2, Bukit Beruntung

Our usual year end event is the Back To School and this would be our 5th time organizing this. For this year, we split the event to 2 parts, where one is for the school and another is for the poor families. The school SK Taman Bunga Raya 2, Rawang was selected as the recipients and 50 poor students were selected by the Parents Teacher Association. We have the usual fund raising and also getting additional items for the kids. Behind the scene, dedicated volunteers were bargaining for cheaper price for school uniforms, bags and embroiled bags. It is through the spirit of giving that makes everything falls into place on the day. On behalf of the children, A BIG THANK YOU to all, and not forgetting the donors too who have contributed to make this event a successful one!

Lastly, many thanks to all sponsors and volunteers who had contributed one way or another, not only to this event, but along the years. Without your support and sponsorship, many of 1M1c projects would not have completed or even started. In January 2015, 1M1c will be 5 years old! Thank you to all sponsors as without the support, we would not has lasted this long. I am truly grateful for all the support 1M1c has been getting to keep this movement going.
