Groceries For Needies@PPR Desa Petaling - July 2019

July 28, 2019 - There is always a first time for everything, and I had to missed out this event due to dengue. However, with everything that has been done throughout the years, everything still proceed as planned, and thanks to volunteers who managed it ensure all goes smoothly. Thank you gals (guys, where are you??!!)

Also many thanks to PPR AJK who coordinated the event between the recipients and the team as distribution went smoothly to the 80 needy families without any issue. Till then, see you guys in the next event!

Groceries For Needies@Jasin, Melaka - May 2019

May 26, 2019 - It took just 30 minutes to do the grocery distribution once the 'blind' speech is made. Grateful to the organiser, Pn. Norila Norlidah Norlidah for getting us the nice big location, and much grateful that the local sundry shop delivered the groceries to the hall which saved us a lot of trips, as with only 3 cars, our capacity were limited as the original plan was to purchase the grocery at Jasin. Some recipients came as early as 830am, and most of them are from Jasin, Merlimau and nearby villages.

Many thanks to our generous sponsors who keep increasing the grocery items, that we end up having 13 items, and looking at the recipients' faces, we know they are glad we came long, and on the other note, looking at their motorbikes, we get worried too! Lastly, thank you to the host for inviting us over! Not forgetting team Ringan Beban & SukaAmal. See you in next project!

Ramadan Food Groceries, Pulau Indah - April 2019

Our April project bring us to Pulau Indah to support team SukaAmal to provide Ramadhan groceries to 60 needy families. For this event, we work with team Ringan Beban and RepublikChenta. It's amazing how things falls into place when everyone put their heart into it. With Ramadhan around the corner, the smiles on their faces tells you a lot on their financial situation. Distribution event was quick and smooth, and we are happy to see their faces lighten up looking at their bounty. For the volunteers, all we got is good memories, and good memories are made of things like these. But some volunteers had mangoes as good memories #nonamementioned.... Thank you #SukaAmal for inviting us. Not forgetting sponsors and volunteers who contributed time and money for the project.

Visited the old grandma as she has mobility problem

Lunch@Ci Hang-Chempaka Round#4 - May 2019

May 12, 2019 - Time flies and it's been a month since we were last here. Today's lunch comes with abundance of preparation, care and love, just to make sure the old folks enjoy the meal. We have bakuteh, yau char kuai, pepper intestine soup, chee cheong fun, yong tow foo, vegetarian wantan, vinegar pork, cakes and fruits.

Post lunch was the usual karaoke session. And that's where the stars shines even in broad hot daylight. Our uncles may look old and fragile, but their voices don't match their age and our volunteer singers never fails to entertain them. Maybe time to have a competition?

THANK YOU to the volunteers who took the time to cook, to buy the food for the lunch. I know a lot of efforts were put into the preparation of the home cook food. Also in the menu is the famous yong tau fu from Paramount Garden, and chee cheong fun from USJ. Some folks asked for 3 servings of bakuteh says a lot on the food. Thank you all for making this lunch happened for the old folks. Wishing all a HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all!
