CNY2018 Round 2 - Guess God of Fortune must be working extra hard this CNY to provide blessing to another 20 families. I was requested to provide 20 needy families to bring them for CNY shopping. We managed to get a list of needy families from the SRJKC Chuen Min, Klang and thanks to the school management, everything was done in no time. We appreciate the school's quick response to arrange and handle the communication to the families as without them, this event is definitely a no-go!
Upon confirming all logistics, each family were given a slip with their details, which is verified against the list. The parents were asked to be in Giant at 9am for verification before proceed to buy their CNY groceries. Budget was raised to RM400 to each families, and you should see their faces lighten up! :) Meanwhile, while waiting for them at the main entrance, the guards thought I am one of those scratch and win scammers LOL.
Upon completion, they meet us at the counter before payment and was surprised with a box of mandarin and bag of rice. We are very happy to see them happy as its worth more than money can buy. So, special thanks the sponsor - UTS Marketing Sdn Bhd and Sanddie for giving them a memorable CNY!
Error: Additional 1 family (not from school) was also part of the recipients, which brings to a total of 21 families.
