Mooncake Festival @Ci-Hang Old Folks Home - Sept 2019

07/09/2019 - We celebrated our first Moon Cake Festival at Ci Hang old folks home. Dinner starts at 6pm, but all volunteers were there by 5:30pm to get ready with the preparation. Quality time with the old folks were well spent with a lot of fun, laughter and of course...numbers of karaoke songs that come together with dancing package! At some point of the karaoke session, we began to sound like a bunch of cheapskates who cannot afford to rent karaoke room LOL. Apart from lighting up the candles and lanterns together, we had the pleasure to also celebrate Mark's birthday with everyone, just because happy moments are meant to be shared.

Many thanks to all volunteers, particularly those who have specially prepared vegetarian food, those who joined and spent time with the old folks despite everyone's tight schedules and kind-hearted sponsors for the useful goodie bags items.

Of course, overall moments were nicely captured by our officially unofficial photographer which warrant a special album for the good photo collections :)

2019 CNY@Bahau, Negeri Sembilan - Feb 2019

Our first event for 2019 brought us to Bahau - SMJK Chi Wen to bring cheers to 80 needy families. Much appreciation to the school teachers and HEM for helping us with the logistics and families arrangement. They were already waiting for us with excitement. As the event unfolds, the most satisfying words heard would be 'banyak' 

Many thanks to sponsors and many last minute sponsors that did wonders - from vitamin pills, mandarin oranges, ngakus, sardines, canned mushrooms and angpow! Not forgetting Food Aid Foundations and Upicon Sdn Bhd for the support. While what we give may not help them much, but it would sure relieve some of their burdens for the coming CNY. End of the day, I realised that we had more items that was originally planned. Guess 'banyak' jugak kali ini. So, thank you sponsors and also volunteers for the efforts to ensure all items are delivered on the RIGHT DATE and TIME (yes, some people got too excited and thought it was a week earlier LOL...), could not have done this without you guys at my back! This January also marked the 9th year 1M1c in service to the community. Thank you guys for keeping this going. Looking forward for the next event!

Movie Day Out with Intellectual Disabilities Kids - Oct 2018

We worked with Leos of Sg Buloh to plan a movie day for intellectual disabilities kids at TGV Cinema, Sunway. Groceries For Needy @PPR Kota Damansara - Sept 2018

For Sept 2018, we went to PPR Kota Damansara, which we came here 4 years back. Today, we had Free Market event first and the Grocery for the 80 families. The day started early at 830am and you can see their excitement on their face :) Lots of free pre loved and free stuff to be given away. Although 2 hours were allocated for the event, it was completed within an hour. Literally nothing was spared! It gave us some time to unload the items for the grocery program. Many thanks to the AJK for ground work. Thanks Dr & Shidah! Weather was striking hot but glad things goes as smoothly and we managed wrap up by 11am!
