CNY#2 Grocery for Needy - Feb 2018

CNY2018 Round 2 - Guess God of Fortune must be working extra hard this CNY to provide blessing to another 20 families. I was requested to provide 20 needy families to bring them for CNY shopping. We managed to get a list of needy families from the SRJKC Chuen Min, Klang  and thanks to the school management, everything was done in no time. We appreciate the school's quick response to arrange and handle the communication to the families as without them, this event is definitely a no-go! 

Upon confirming all logistics, each family were given a slip with their details, which is verified against the list. The parents were asked to be in Giant at 9am for verification before proceed to buy their CNY groceries. Budget was raised to RM400 to each families, and you should see their faces lighten up! :) Meanwhile, while waiting for them at the main entrance, the guards thought I am one of those scratch and win scammers LOL.

Upon completion, they meet us at the counter before payment and was surprised with a box of mandarin and bag of rice. We are very happy to see them happy as its worth more than money can buy. So, special thanks the sponsor - UTS Marketing Sdn Bhd and Sanddie for giving them a memorable CNY!

CNY#1 Grocery for Needy - Feb 2018

Our usual CNY event grocery distribution. Originally to go to another location but due to slow response, we end up where we went last year - Tg Sepat! For this event, we had a lot of sponsorship, and thanks to Shah Alam Buddhist Society, each family take one extra bag of rice home. Additional items such as coconut water, angpows, stationary for the kids as well to spice up the event. We.completed the distribution within 30 minutes... Thank volunteers for helping out as with so much items sponsored, we really need all the help to help the old folks. Thank you to the sponsors for giving the families another memorable Chinese New Year.

Sports Day for HELP Community Center - Dec 2017

Back to School 2018 - On behalf of the recipients of the uniforms, I would like to thank all sponsors who have help to make a difference. With your sponsorship, we managed to provide the school uniforms to two families and kids from Lagenda Home. Not forgetting the volunteers who came to help to control the "riot"!

Movie Day Out with Intellectual Disabilities Kids - Sept 2017

For October 2017, the event is to bring kids with intellectual disabilities to the movies. We are grateful for all the sponsors who make this event possible. Thank you Leo Club of  Sg Buloh for volunteering and also sponsors for nasi lemak, burger and Tea Live. Thank you all ! :)

Deepavali 2017 - Oct 2017

Today's Deepavali distribution to the needy families covers the families in Port Klang, Kapar, PJ and Sg. Buluh. Thanks to sponsors from Volunteers Unite, we were able to increase to RM200 per family. We hope they will have a happy celebration for Deepavali. :)
